Now that Christmas is out of the way, we have turned our attention back to deep sea fishing. We fish year-round from Orange Beach with a professional crew that will provide you service second to none.
Most people can not fathom the hours and hours of work that goes on behind the scenes to make a charter fishing trip seem so easy. The next time you are sitting in the cockpit on the ride in and think how easy that was, just remember its never as easy as it looks!
Today we spent the majority of our day descaling, sanitizing and doing yearly maintenance our Scotsman ice maker. This is one if those things that is easily over looked until it doesn’t work. I never would have imagined how a simple 900 pound per day ice-maker can make our fishing trips even better. We must always have an abundance of ice to keep our fish chilled and looking good at the dock is paramount for us.
As the old saying goes an ounce of prevention… Well it’s just time to get ready to go fishing. Remember that triggerfish will reopen on January 1, 2013 with a two per person bag limit. I’m looking forward to catching some big triggers!
The amberjacks and vermillion snapper have been the highlight of the fall and winter on the 10 hour day trips.
The 6 hour trips have been a lot of fun with the king mackerel! Other bottom fish have been biting very well this winter too!
